Don’t Shoot Yourself in the Foot with This Mistake

I am currently  in the final stages of testing my new “One Minute Practice” – online practice system checking and KPI reporting program with my private coaching clients and from early reports – this system has the ability to dramatically grow your health business.

One of the key benefits of this system is the ability to quickly point out when a clinic system or procedure has not been completed – because I can tell you from experience there is nothing more frustrating than to spend time and energy putting in a business protocol – only to see it not be completed by your team.

It is vital – that all steps and systems are not only explained and outlined – but their actual completion is recorded and measured.

This is where most health business owners shoot themselves in the foot.

They put in a great protocol – but fail to follow it up – fail to make sure it is actually done – and fail to have any consequences for the team member who neglects to complete this step.

Do not let this happen to you.

One of the keys to business success – is to reduce the time between the step not being completed – and you finding out about it.

If one of your main steps is to have all new patients sign a new patient agreement when they first arrive at your practice for their initial assessment – then it is vital you know if this step was not completed – and the sooner you find out – the better.

If a patient does not complete this step – because the admin team forgot to do it – and you don’t discover this oversight for a week – then the damage is already done.

The beauty of the “One Minute Practice” program – is for you to be able to log into the system – and in one minute or less – identify which step was not completed – so you can immediately speak to the team member involved and fix this issue.

The longer the delay between a step not being completed and you finding out about it – the less control you have of your business and your team – this I can tell you from experience.

Next time your dog does his business on your carpet – so how little impact it has for you to scold him a week from the time of his bowel movement – as you can imagine – this has little effect.

Act fast – be decisive – and pick up all failed tasks as soon as you possibly can.

Don’t shoot yourself in the foot.

I hope this help you in your health business

Best Wishes

Paul Wright
